Here is a view from the beach we stayed at for one day while in Travandrum, Kerala. It was at the hotel here where I got so bloody sick I prayed for the sweet release of death. Man, was I sick. This is a picture of some sort of little Christian shrine. The state of Kerala is pretty diverse as far as religion goes. It's about 25% Christian, 25% Muslim, 35% Hindu, and the remainder maid up of various different religions. They all more or less get along too which is pretty damned nice. Kerala is a very peaceful, tolerant state compaired to many places, something they seem to take great pride in as well they should.
